The club concert at Berns was great and Billy will stay in my memory forever, but the concert at Globen was even better. I believe it is one of the best Bob concerts I have ever seen, at least for many years. Why? 1. You have read the setlist - not only 14 new songs from yesterday, but a superb mix. 2. Great singing all the way through. I can't remember last time I heard him singing as good. 3. Many highlights, and 3 of them just magic: A perfect performed Chimes of freedom. I really felt it in my spine. Love sick, performed senter stage mixing up his vocal and harmonica playing in a way I never heard before. Brilliant! One more cup of coffe, with accoustic guitar center stage. Bluuues! I think I have to add Desolation Row too. Nine word perfect verses and the staccato singing at the last three verses even sounded right. 4. All songs performed good. No low points. 5. Fantastic interacting between Bob and the band. 6. A lot of funny movements from Bob on the stage. 7. Brilliant sound at the venue, at least where I sat. Going home to Oslo! Please keep it up Bob!

For the only time tonight it took a while before I recognised the next sonhg. I could not hear the lyrics (the sound was not very good in this hall) and the tune remined me of two songs he had allready played; You go your way and Things have changed. It turned out to be I don't believe you. I have heard it better, but on the other hand I have not heard a better version of the next song; I believe in you, for a long time. The audience loved it. Honest with me, usually a boring song in my opinion, followed in a very good version. Blistering guitar solo from Stu. When you are a Dylan fan sometimes you get a question like this: "If you met Bob before a concert and he asked you what song do you want to hear tonight, what song is your chice?" When I have been asked this, I have had the same answer for years: BILLY. I have never expected it to happen. Tonight he played it. Beautyful version, what more can I say. Tears running on a lot of faces, first time for me since 2003 in Hammersmith when he played Romance in Durango. Maybe a once in a lifetime experience. Who knows? Good solid versions of Summerdays and Watchtower ended the main set. The first encore; Cry awhile was a surprise. It was nice too0 when Bob halfway through moved senter stage. LARS followed and then another small surprise at the end; Forever young with great harmonica playing from Bob. do you think I look foreward to the next show? YES, I DO!

You´ve seen the setlist i guess, but let me just say that highlights for me were "deal goes down" " Tangled up in blue" (with some breathtaking phrasing, I can´t believe he´s actually renewed this one AGAIN!), "Thunder..." and a nuclear"Watchtower"...but outstanding this time, my absolute Dylanmoment was "Netty Moore"...WOW! can´t even begin to describe the beauty of it... Bob´´s voice was the clearest and strongest throughout the show that I´ve heard since 2000, possibly even 1996....

Tony picks up is ”standing-bass” and we all know the concert is coming to a close. “Summer Days” is still great, but, what about something else in that spot Bob? The anchors are the two usual ones ”LARS” and ”Whatchtower”, split in the middle by a great version of a really great song; ”Thunder On The Mountain”. Really a night to remember for the 700 lucky ones, smiling and stumbling (and rollin``and thumblin) out in the mild Stockholm spring-night. But was it a very good concert or just an extraordinary one, because of the small hall? I`m not sure. Hard to decide after being 3 meters away from Bob most of the concert.

All in all, ten of the songs were repeats from Dylan’s last concert at the same
venue, making the evening somewhat predictable for returning audience. That’s not
to say the show wasn’t without merits. If You See Her, Say Hello and Stuck Inside
of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again may have stood out as the highlights,
but some spirited performances of the modern-day standards made them far more
engaging than expected. Highway 61 may not be the song you would think would
get the audience to their feet, but this evening this was just what it did.

All in all a solid but not exceptional show. One comment I would add at the end is that during the encores someone threw a bra on the stage (Bob is not Tom Jones, is he?) Later on a girl threw a bouquet of roses on the stage. That bouquet was seen on one of the amplifiers in both Copenhagen and Hamburg. The girl had left her phonenumber on the bouquet and was finally phoned from Hamburg, being told that the roses had reached the right person. Amazing.

After the main set the more predictable encores felt like a slight dissapointment. Nothing special here except for two young girls from the audience who was allowed by Bob´s security and guitar technician to come on stage and dance during Like a rolling stone. Honest with me showcased some nice work from the new drummer George Receli who sounded much more into it than on the tapes I´ve heard from the earlier shows this year.

I loved the arrangement of "All Along The Watchtower" with the "reapeat" of the half line. "Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You" also great with lovely moves by Dylan. A suprice with a bit upbeat and wonderful "Every Grain Of Sand". The acoustic set started with "Desolation Row" followed by the lovely "One Too many Mornings" which harp solo was worth the entry fee. The slow "Make You Feel My Love" (reminded me a bit of "Simple Twist Of Faith" on "Darkness At The Break Of Noon"). "This Wheel's On Fire" also great and again Dylan showed those lovely moves! The crowd kept seated for the hole time.
