One of the funniest Bob moments happened after the rather solid CATS IN THE WELL: The Band started playing, problem was that they were playing different songs! Bob was playing the chords of DON’T THINK TWICE (well, sort of...), but all (or some?) of the others were obviously prepared for another song. After a few bars of pure chaos they nearly stopped playing – everybody was looking around very puzzled – Tony gave his electric bass away and took the acoustic stand up bass instead. Bob was simply playing on and on – and finally everyone joined him to do DON’T THINK TWICE. I have never (!) seen Tony so surprised, very funny!

Dylan ganz in Schwarz, schnörkellos spielend und ohne große Inszenierungen
- das ist wie immer. Ins Auge stechend dagegen ist die Perfektion und die
Routine, mit der er die Show inszeniert. Doch die Stimme kommt rau und hart
wie eh und je, bei seinem berühmten Sprechgesang ist Dylan unverkennbar
der Alte. Erst in der zweiten Hälfte steigert er das Tempo, jagen sich
schließlich rasant die Soli seiner exzellenten Band. Wie gewohnt spielen
Tony Garnier den Bass und George Recile das Schlagzeug.

In the encore section, after Like A Rolling Stone' The Band changed to acoustic gear - leaving only Larry with an elecctric guitar. What's that gonna be??!. Some jazzy chords were played - no one had an idea. All that changed immideately when Bob sang the firts line. Great rounds of applause followed: IF DOGS RUN FREE!!!! Played in a jazzy arrangement.
