Review by Ahmund Bördahl A hot night in Jahrhunderthalle: Time for Dylan and his Band. Cat's in the well, don't think twice. Watching: It's... to Ramona. Levee's gonna break, rain's gonna fall, rollin' and tumblin' when the deal goes - down. But things have changed. Darkness on the face of the deep. Kill me a son. Oh I miss you Nettie Moore, and my happiness is o'er, the world gone black before my eyes, raise a toast to the king! That's where the music comin' from. Rollin' like a drum. None of them along the line know what any - any of it - is worth: You and I we'we been thru that. But why catalogue details? Nothing came short of perfection. (Bob Links) |

Review by Markus Prieur All the rocking songs which appear a lot on this tour, were extremely intense and well performed, especially I would like to mention “Things Have Changed”, “Highway 61", and “Honest With Me”. The solo from Freddy Koella during the big instrumental break of “Summer Days” was one of the best things I ever saw any band member do on stage. Freddy, who was wearing a hat, rocked all the way in Frankfurt, but unfortunately I could not see much of him unless he stepped up to the center stage area (Bob Links) |

Review by Claus I run upstairs on the best stair because I know the hall from the last year. Reaching the hall I wonder. Nobody was there but me. I started my turbo for the last print. I felt the hot breath from Michael Johnson, Carl Lewis und Maurice Green in my neck. I just managed it. The first. I was out of breath but lucky like all the others who get to the first row. Even that grandma is there. I don't know how ? She must be flown. But I, -WOW- the first row in front of the microphone ! On this evening, without a doubt, the best place in the universe. Someone said, a place in the first row in a good Dylan concert is one of the 10 best things which can happen in everyons life. What a wise man. I can confirm that. I can not explain in words what happened between 8:05pm and 10:25pm Someone, not from this world, with the best musicans of the planet. You have to be there - I was. (Bob Links) |

Review
by Michael Willis Both buses were in the jam, the bus drivers got out and were examining the mess. Bob's bus was the second one. Some German guy want up to Bob's bus and held a cover of New Morning up to the windows and walked the length of the bus holding the cover. Like, Bob will open a window and sign New Morning? DUH!! Anyway these antics caught the attention of a security guy who, shall we say, gently asked the person to stop doing it. The guy complied. After a few minutes I went over to the security guy and chatted with him for a few minutes, a real nice guy and obviously one of the private security team. He mentioned the Cagliari concert where Bob went over to all the fans and signed things for them and took photographs. But he said, to try to meet Bob in a hotel, WRONG PLACE. Try to meet Bob at the airport, WRONG PLACE. After a good show, you stand a chance. (Bob Links) |
